  19. <p>     The 36-page will of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was filed last
  20. week. John F. Kennedy Jr. and his sister Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg
  21. will inherit their mother's residences in Manhattan and Martha's
  22. Vineyard, $250,000 apiece in cash, and her papers, which she
  23. asked to be kept private. The will also creates the C&J Foundation,
  24. a charitable trust, and leaves hundreds of thousands of dollars
  25. to relatives and former employees, including Onassis' White
  26. House maid. Maurice Tempelsman, her wealthy companion of some
  27. 10 years, will be an executor. Onassis left him a Greek alabaster
  28. statue of a woman's head.

  32. <p>     "Once he cuts loose on the songs that Dad taught him, history
  33. may well repeat itself," read a 1963 press release on Frank
  34. Sinatra Jr. Unfortunately, history did not repeat itself. But
  35. if you're in love, what does it matter if you're not a big saloon
  36. singer? Gossip columnists have been buzzing that young Frank,
  37. his father's musical director, is dating alleged madam Heidi
  38. Fleiss. "Ridiculous," says his manager. "They're just very close
  39. friends."

  43. <p>     Were Meryl Streep to assume the role of Dr. Jekyll's chambermaid,
  44. she might spend a month pressing sheets with a 19th century
  45. iron. JULIA ROBERTS, who is playing the part in the Stephen
  46. Frears film Mary Reilly, is hardly preparing so intensely. Two
  47. days before shooting began, she had yet to read either the novel
  48. the film is based on or Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange
  49. Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, from which the story is derived.
  50. "It is more information than I want at this stage," Roberts
  51. said at a London press conference held with her co-star, John
  52. Malkovich. "I'm not a big research nut." Reporters quickly moved
  53. on to the subject of Julia's marriage to Lyle Lovett--a month
  54. before their first anniversary, she's been seen without her
  55. wedding ring. "My relationship," Roberts quipped, "doesn't fall
  56. under the Freedom of Information Act."

  60. <p>     Eyebrows were raised when Wesley Snipes attended a speech last
  61. week by Nation of Islam official Khallid Abdul Muhammad the
  62. day before Muhammad was shot. Snipes, a non-practicing convert
  63. to Islam, was introduced to the crowd. His spokesman says, "Wesley
  64. has a Jewish agent, a Jewish lawyer and a gay publicist. If
  65. he was really aligning himself with what this guy was saying,
  66. he'd put a bullet in each of us."

  68. <p>     A Father's Day note: John Wayne Bobbitt, trying to arrange a
  69. settlement of a paternity suit, now admits he is the father
  70. of the 17-month-old in question. Bobbitt announced that he will
  71. provide for the child and is "thrilled, excited and blessed
  72. to be the father of this beautiful baby boy."
